Sharing some photos from April Chams (Sacred Tantric Lama Dances) at DKC in Escondido (fb)

We are pleased to announce the 2025 Lama Dances at DKC. We are also happy to share about a special project we have begun to help us in the preservation, documentation and digital archive of these precious and sacred Tibetan Buddhist dances also referred to as Chams. We received some funding for this project which has been made possible in part, by a grant from the Alliance for California Traditional Arts, in partnership with the California Arts Council, a state agency, the Walter & Elise Haas Fund, and the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. We will post more updates about the digital archive project as it becomes available. We hope you can join us in person on April 27th.
