The residents at MSC's William J Wood Veterans House held a Memorial Day Celebration and one of our MSC team members shared the following: I just wanted to take a moment to share how truly incredible our residents’ Memorial Day celebration turned out. It was a heartfelt, meaningful gathering - one that reminded us all exactly why we do what we do. From the food, beautiful decorations and smiles to the stories, the laughter to the quiet moments of reflection, this event was a beautiful reminder of the strength, resilience, and pride that lives within our community. A special highlight that touched everyone deeply was the manmade memorial wall, lovingly created to honor the fallen soldiers among their peers. The care and intention behind every name, every token, and every detail reflected a deep, unshakable respect. It wasn’t just a wall, it was a tribute, and a powerful one at that. Let’s take a moment to give kudos to our residents, who came together as one, united by a shared history, a shared grief, and most of all , a shared pride.
