Another road trip in the books! Yesterday, several of the residents were treated to a special day trip as they visited the St. Frances Cabrini Shrine in New York for a mini pilgrimage! Fr. Ron Galt, Vice President of Pastoral Care and Mission, arranged for this outing in coordination with the staff at the shrine. Residents were transported by the Cabrini Van and when they arrived, they were treated to a presentation and tour and participated in Mass. After lunch, the residents had time to visit the Shrine's gift shop and then returned home. Fr. Ron hopes to make this a frequent trip for the residents so that more can experience this beautiful site dedicated to Mother Cabrini.
