Our mission is as clear as it is relevant: to present operas that are in the Spanish language, are written by Hispanic or Latin composers, and/or are inspired by Latin American themes and topics. The value of Opera Hispánica's mission is twofold: it promotes the exposure of the Spanish and Latin vocal tradition over several centuries while securing its history and dissemination for continued enrichment; and it brings forth a wealth of current composers, artists, and performers to affirm the pride in our heritage.
