Calling all kids! Come on down to Ballard Park this Saturday morning at 11:00AM and get ready to scramble for those eggs! Rain date is Sunday, April 13th. See you there! #ridgefieldct #EggHunt2025 #eggscramble #easteregghunt #rotaryclub (fb)

Please be sure to join our own Ridgefield Rotarian, Joel Third, this Saturday, March 1st from 2-4pm at the Ridgefield Library where he will be helping launch a new exhibition, 'Just Audubon, Birds & Animals,' featuring rare prints of artist John James Audubon from Joel's own personal collection. Joel will be giving a talk about these prints, with a reception to follow. A longtime community leader as a board member at Keeler Tavern Museum and History Center, Ridgefield Rotary and congregant at Saint Stephens Episcopal Church , Joel's passion and deep knowledge about the works in his vast collection are something to cherish. The exhibit runs through April 9th. (fb)

Replanting Ridgefield SOAR Together The power of intergenerational social connections is undeniable and was so beautifully displayed at yesterdays Flower Power event with Ridgefield residents from Prospect Ridge nclridgefield2026 mothersdaughters and SOAR Young Leaders. SOARs Social Engagement Ecosystem model of blending creators and recipients was on fulldisplay with bouquets and plants headed out the door with each attendee as well as a carload delivered on behalf of the group to neighbors at Ridgefield Station. A huge thank you to our Ridgefield Flower Power sponsors ridgefieldrotary our Flower Rescue teams traderjoes Danbury and Fairfield who recognize the importance of keeping flower waste out of landfills and Monica Stromwall from Ridgefield Housing Authority who brings both brilliance and heart to all she does for her community members. And a heartfelt message to all who have teensyounger adults in their lives studies clearly show the two demographics contending with the highest levels of lonelinesssocial isolation are older adults and teensyoung adults.
