River House Adult Day Center improves the quality of life for aging adults and their caregivers in a supportive, person-centered environment. River House Adult Day Center is an accredited medical model adult day center serving Greenwich, Stamford, and the surrounding communities. Our mission is to provide ADULT DAY CARE THAT WORKS FOR ALL FAMILIES. We address the impact of aging on families in our community by providing comprehensive, supportive services in a compassionate, safe and engaging setting. We provide health services, therapeutic recreation, socialization, and stimulation to aging adults who require daytime care. Family members and caregivers receive emotional support, information, and referral services in addition to much needed daytime respite. Staffed by a registered nurse, a team of certified nurse’s aides, therapeutic recreation specialists, and a social services coordinator, River House is the only accredited medical model adult daycare center serving the Greenwich and Stamford community.
