Zach passed away around May 8th in Clemson, SC. "Zach was one of the hardest players ever to have worn the Outlaws jersey. Always committed, fiercely competitive, would never let you down and always gave me and Dave(Hawkins) 110% every time he played." Chris 'Taffy' Greenslade. A Service for Zach and the family will be held at Stuhr Funeral Chapel 1494 Mathis Ferry Rd, Mt. Pleasant SC 29464 on Thursday, May 29. Visitation starts at 5 PM with the service to follow starting at 6. The family have requested that in Zach's honor, those that can attend, please wear an Outlaws rugby jersey or Outlaws shirt. The format of the service will be casual with photos and some of Zach's personal items on display (if you have any photos of Zach that you would like to contribute to the display for the family, please feel free to bring them). A family friend who is a pastor will give a brief informal service at 6, with a few close family members and friends offering their comments and tributes, before being open to the floor for anyone else that wants to say a few words. The service will conclude around 7 where we will then gather at the Southern for a few beers to celebrate our friend – a final update will be provided at the service. Yesterday was the Charleston Outlaws end-of-season Awards party and Kangaroo Court for 2024-25. Congratulations to the winners as chosen by their team mates.
