
NORTH MIDLANDS LGBT OLDER PEOPLES GROUP
Founded in 2009 on a cold wintry afternoon at the Leopard Inn Burslem with 5 people, The OLGBT Group has grown to become a recognised & trusted community group The Group provides a local network that encourages and enables LGBT people to participate more effectively with the wider community; and works to increase, and co-ordinate opportunities for LGBT people to engage with service providers. We are a self-help group that offers mutual peer support in regular meetings and through programmes of social, cultural & creative activities.

Most of our physical meetings currently take place in or around StokeonTrent and North Staffordshire. We also have weekly online social meetings on Zoom. Our social meetings and activities help reduce isolation and loneliness for older LGBT people.
