United for Respect
We are a movement of people working at Walmart, Amazon and Wall Street owned retail companies fighting to live with dignity and respect. United for Respect Education Fund (UFREF) elevates the voices of those employed in the retail economy to call on industry leaders & policymakers to transform jobs so people can lead safe & economically-secure lives. We leverage technology to support retail workers & build resilient communities. Through our online peer networks & on-the-ground base-building strategies we build the leadership of people working in low-paid jobs to share their stories &, with our partners, advocate for real solutions. Our scope & scale provide opportunities to support local work in these areas as well as build momentum for national change. We envision a world where all workers have the power, time, & money to lead full, free, empowered lives, where they power a multiracial economy & democracy that benefits all

Last week, House Republicans passed a massive budget and tax bill that would slash health care, food assistance, and other vital programs vulnerable communities rely. Take action today to tell the Senate not to take these services from working families! https://t.co/YeBfj9HPYV https://t.co/yvuJ2VpO2s (tw)
