Yesterday, these six PAWS pups were invited to participate in the first ever Barkstool Dog Show! Kevin took home Best in Show, but all of these puppies turned out to be winners because Dave Portnoy offered to sponsor their adoption fees through the end of the month! Come on in to meet Kevin, Idalee, Inavi, Dove, Iggy, and Inez - their adoption fees are covered until May 31st! With open spaces from Spring Adopt-a-Thon, we wasted no time picking up pets that need us most! On Friday, our team got to pick up 25 cats from Chicago Animal Care & Control - 3 moms and babies, some really sick kittens who are now getting the medical care they need, and a few adults as well. Little Kanji is still in critical care, but he’s staying warm in our incubator, getting nebulizer treatments, IV fluids, eye drops, warm compresses to help his eyes open up, and getting syringe fed to help him get healthier and stronger every day ❤️‍🩹 Happy to say nearly all of these kitties moved into a foster home over the weekend for continued care, and the healthy cats will be moving to our Adoption Center soon!
