✨ VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT ✨ Meet Ann-Marie and Sally, neighbors, friends, and dedicated volunteers based in Asheville, North Carolina. Coincidentally, Ann-Marie and Sally are both from Cincinnati - and also both moved to the Asheville area nearly two decades ago. They first met through a neighborhood book club and later discovered a shared passion for community service.

✨ VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT ✨ Meet Lloyd and Lisa, a dynamic couple from Newtown, Connecticut, whose shared commitment to service and community has brought them back for multiple volunteer deployments with NECHAMA in Western North Carolina. After retiring as a software engineer and moving to Connecticut from Long Island, Lloyd grew interested in volunteering and recalled his experience deploying with NECHAMA two decades ago, in Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina. Though life got busy raising a family, the desire to return to service never left.
