Future In Sight is working on behalf of the NH Governor's Commission on Disability to offer the NH Telecommunications Equipment Assistance Program (NH-TEAP) to residents of New Hampshire with vision loss, hearing loss, and challenges to speech and mobility. This program helps these individuals acquire an accessible landline OR mobile phone plus provides training on how to access emergency services. Phones are available at up to a 50% discount to individuals who qualify for the program based on the disabilities mentioned above. In some cases, the cost of the phone may be fully covered.
