Women's Foundation of Arkansas 2025 POWER OF THE PURSE In honor of the last day of Womens History Month we are so excited to formally announce the 2025 WOMEN OF THE YEAR HONOREES and our Power of the Purse CoChairs. If you dont know these women yet you should. They are making waves here in Arkansas and leading the way for many more women and girls to follow. We cant wait to celebrate the impact they have achieved and continue our work for women and girls across the state.

WOMENS FOUNDATION OF ARKANSAS
October 9 is DAF Day — an annual event designed to inspire giving through donor-advised funds (DAFs) and kick off year-end philanthropy. Modeled after GivingTuesday, it encourages charities to access a portion of the $250 billion currently held in DAFs. A DAF is a charitable account where donors contribute cash, securities, or other assets for an immediate tax deduction and tax-free growth, then recommend grants to nonprofits over time.
