South Central Family Health Center (SCFHC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing affordable, comprehensive healthcare services to underserved communities in South Los Angeles and Southeast Los Angeles County. Established in 1981, SCFHC has evolved from a small storefront clinic into a vital part of the healthcare safety net.

Operations

SCFHC operates several health centers and wellness programs in South Los Angeles, including locations in Huntington Park, Montebello, and Cudahy. Additionally, it manages school-based wellness centers at The Accelerated School and Jefferson High School.

In 2022, SCFHC served 25,794 patients with 150,000 patient visits. The majority of its patient base is Hispanic/Latino (87%), with 99% living below 200% of the federal poverty level.
