This month, we honored more than 500 Silver Award Girl Scouts at ceremonies in Glendale and Lakewood. These Girl Scouts showcased their commitment to making a difference through impactful service projects that reflect the heart of the Girl Scout mission – to make the world a better place. 💜 CEO Theresa Edy Kiene welcomed each Girl Scout to the stage to receive their Silver Award, while troop leaders spoke proudly about their group projects. We heard inspiring stories focused on mental health awareness, destigmatizing women’s menstrual cycles, protecting native bee populations, and so much more. To close each celebration, 2025 Gold Award Girl Scouts Josephine C. and Madison T. offered words of encouragement, motivating their fellow Girl Scouts to keep reaching for the stars and take the next step toward their Gold Award – the highest honor in Girl Scouting.
