Special Needs Africa is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving the lives of those abled differently in East Africa. Special Needs Africa is dedicated to improving the lives of those that are abled differently in East Africa through educating, raising awareness and providing crucial therapy services. Our mission is to raise the funds necessary to provide the following essential services; assessments and creations of an IEP for individual children, Recruit nutritionists to teach parents and caregivers about special diets, healthy eating habits, and feeding skills, Recruit trainers to teach parents, teachers, and caregivers about different special needs and how best to care for someone diagnosed with a need, Physiotherapy to children with a physical disability, Occupational therapy, and special education teachers to homeschool children who have been denied access to school due to their severe diagnosis.
