Lehualani Center

The Lehualani Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, designated for charitable purposes. It focuses on providing individual, family, and community services aimed at revitalizing play, joy, and harmony in communities.

Mission

The center's mission is rooted in traditional Hawaiian values, emphasizing the importance of living fully and spreading the concept of Aloha, which embodies mutual respect and affection. The name 'Lehualani' means "heavenly flower" and reflects the organization's goal of fostering environments where individuals can grow authentically.

Services

Lehualani Center offers a range of services, including:

• Counseling Services: Personalized and collaborative counseling for adults, adolescents, children, and couples. Expertise includes depression, anxiety, eating disorders, grief, loss, identity concerns, adult learning disabilities, and ADHD.
• Play Therapy: Utilizes Child and Adolescent Gestalt Play Therapy, providing a safe space for children and families to address behavioral problems, peer relationships, and learning disabilities.
• Workshops and Retreats: Conducts various workshops, retreats, and training sessions focused on Hawaiian Energetics and other therapeutic techniques.
• Hawaiian Energetics Treatments: Incorporates ancient Hawaiian wisdom and energy healing practices to provide physical, emotional, energetic, and spiritual renewal.

Leadership

The center is led by Dr. Sarah Kawahinekōmakaninani Williams, Psy.D., a licensed clinical psychologist. Dr. Williams is EMDR certified and specializes in Hawaiian Energetics and Cranial Sacral Therapy. She has extensive experience working with trauma and has presented at conferences across North America.

Community Engagement

The Lehualani Center also engages in community initiatives, such as supporting individuals affected by local crises through facilitated community groups and online forums.
