BoricuActivatEd mourns the passing of our friend, Congressman Raúl Grijalva @repraulgrijalva. He was a fearless advocate for the rights of immigrants, for economic justice and for the need to protect our climate. As the chairman of the House Natural Resources Committee, he stood up and spoke out time and again for the interests of Puerto Rico. Our thoughts are with his family and the people of Arizona. We also extend a warm embrace to his former and current staff and our friends, Brian Modeste, Amy Emerick Clerkin and Margarita Varela Rosa. Congressman Grijalva will be missed, but his legacy will live on. (fb)
