The mission of 4-H that Camp subscribes to create supportive environments for culturally diverse youth and adults to reach their fullest potential by:*Creating a safe, enjoyable outdoor learning experience, *Providing an opportunity to develop leadership skills social and group living while fostering creativity, independence and responsibility, *Offering a choice of age appropriate programs that build confidence and self-esteem, *Encouraging an understanding and respect for the environment, animals, agriculture, and natural resources, *Building an appreciation and acceptance of the differences in people, and developing a caring community.

To educate Middle and Upper School students particularly those from underserved local schools and the general public about current trends and processes in mathematics and other STEM fields during a camp in the summer DC Summer STEM Academy Empowering future innovators through accessible STEM education Mission The DC Summer STEM Academy is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that provides funds for students currently attending DC Public Schools and DC Public Charter Schools or TItle I schools in MD or VA to receive STEM enrichment and support experiences over the summer.
