YDI’s mission is to help disadvantaged adolescent youth make pathways out of poverty by engaging them in evidence-based life skills training after school in which they develop The EDGE: 1) Establish individualized career plans 2) Develop critical life skills 3) Gain essential real-world employment and relationship-building opportunities and 4) Explore college/post-secondary training options.

Courageous & Emerging Leadership Academy is designed to MENTOR, MOTIVATE, ENGAGE and ASSIST youth in reaching their leadership potential by focusing on the following: Wellness / Physical Arts, Academic Enrichment, Social Skills Development, Mentoring, and Leadership Courageous Emerging Leadership Academy Building Minds and Saving Lives Youth Services Violence Prevention Youth will learn how to handle abusive relationships grief loss suicide and depression violence.
