The primary objective and purpose of this Society are to discover, procure, promote, and preserve whatever may relate to the natural, civil, literary, economic, and/or ecclesiastical history of the Mono Basin in general, and to maintain the Old Mono Lake Schoolhouse as a museum displaying artifacts pertinent to the Mono Basin.
