Our 501(C)(3), staffed by volunteers, accepts donated books and DVDs, offering them for sale 2x/year LIteracy: Books to Benefit is a local 501(C)3 nonprofit organization passionately working to support literacy with donations to STAR Adult Literacy and YouthBuild McLean County's literacy programs.

We are a book give-away program using former teacher and librarian volunteers who select and distribute free books to children, caregivers and teachers, particularly those in low-income, disadvantaged regions in Santa Cruz and Sacramento counties.
