The mission of the Maturango Museum is to preserve, interpret, and develop an appreciation for the natural and cultural history of the Northern Mojave Desert and to promote the Arts THE MISSION OF THE MATURANGO MUSEUM IS TO PRESERVE, INTERPRET, AND DEVELOP AN APPRECIATION FOR THE NATURAL AND CULTURAL HISTORY OF THE NORTHERN MOJAVE DESERT THROUGH RESEARCH AND EDUCATION, AND TO PROMOTE THE ARTS.
