"the music is just the beginning. " The Green Mountain Youth Symphony was founded in 2001 as the Central Vermont Youth Orchestra with a mission of providing young musicians of Central Vermont with the opportunity to play and perform orchestral music in their own community with their peers.

The Hartland Community Band was organized in 1994 to foster and promote an adult concert band that offers challenging and rewarding music for all players.
