THE MISSION OF THE CARBONDALE WARMING CENTER IS TO PROVIDE A WARM, CLEAN AND SECURE SLEEPING SPACE ON COLD AND FRIGID NIGHTS FOR THE SAKE OF HUMAN DIGNITY, SAFETY AND SURVIVAL; AN ADDITIONAL GOAL IS TO PROVIDE OUTREACH SERVICES TO THE GUEST OF THE WARMING CENTER IN AN EFFORT TO WORK TOWARD A MORE PERMANENT SOLUTION.
