Menu Katherine George Fan Foundation For Chinese Art About Revising Xi Qing Gu Jian Revising Xi Qing Gu Jian 2 During the 11th month of 14th year of the reign of Emperor ChienLong 1749 a project to catalog the bronzes Rivisit Xiqing Gujian a 3volume catalogue extending the bronze artefacts of the imperial collection published by KGFF Chinese Bronzes in Imperial Collection Study From 2015 to 2018 KGFF leads the academic research project of Chinese bronzes in Imperial collection collaborating with 6 international museums including Beijing Palace Museum Taiwan Ancient Chinese Bronzes form the Shouyang Studio Organizer Shanghai Museum in collaboration with the Art Institute of Chicago For the ruling elite of ancient China prestigious objects of bronze signified supreme political power .
