The Create Good Foundation is a public charity formed by Pura Vida Coffee in 1998; funded by Pura Vida Coffee, its ownership group, and public donations as well; missioned to use its resources to fund programs that help children in at-risk communities and to partner with churches and other non-profits to help fund projects that help those in need.

The Organization works to (i) prevent and relieve poverty in rural, disadvantaged smallholder farming communities in developing countries in Latin America and Africa; (ii) advance farming education and training in smallholder farming communities in Latin America and Africa; and (iii) promote sustainable development through preservation, conservation, and protection of the environment, prudent use of natural resources, and promotion of sustainable means of achieving economic growth and regeneration in smallholder farming communities in Latin America and Africa.

The mission of Coffee With A Cause is to help transitional age youth (ages 16- 24) who have experienced foster care, homelessness and justice system-involvement in finding a pathway to sustainable employment and long-term careers.
