SAN FRANCISCO SENIOR CENTER ("SFSC") IS OPERATED TO PROMOTE THE WELL BEING OF OLDER MEN AND WOMEN BY AFFIRMING THEIR DIGNITY, SECURITY AND USEFULNESS; PROVIDING A WELL-ROUNDED PROGRAM OF SOCIAL, RECREATIONAL, AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES THAT WILL ENCOURAGE FRIENDLY RELATIONSHIPS, DEVELOPMENT OF INDIVIDUAL SKILLS, AND SATISFACTORY INDEPENDENT SOCIAL LIVING; SERVING AS A COMMUNITY RESOURCE TO THE NETWORK OF AGENCIES WORKING WITH SENIORS IN THE SAN FRANCISCO AREA, AND; ENGAGING IN COMMUNITY-BASED ACTIVITIES FOR OLDER ADULTS, INCLUDING THOSE WITH DISABILITIES.
