FOUNDATION MISSION SHALL BE TO (1) PROMOTE YOUTH BASEBALL AND RELATED ACTIVITIES IN THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA AND MIDDLE ATLANTIC STATES; (2) PROMOTE SPORTSMANSHIP AND A SENSE OF FAIR PLAY AMOUNG OUR YOUTH; (3) NARROW AND ULTIMATELY BRIDGE AND CLOSE THE RACIAL DIVIDE IN OUR YOUTH SPORTS; AND (4) RECRUIT, ORGANIZE, AND SPONSOR COMPETITIVE YOUTH BASEBALL TEAMS WITH SELECTION BASED ON TALENT AND MERIT WITHOUT RACE OR ETHNIC PREFERENCE FROM THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, VIRGINIA, AND MARYLAND.
