In cooperation with Pittsburgh History & Landmarks Foundation and the National Society of the Colonial Dames of America/PA, to preserve, maintain and operate as a museum of early life in western Pennsylvania and its connection to the Whiskey Rebellion, the national historic landmark known both as Woodville and the John and Presley Neville House Experience Life in the 18th Century at theHome of John Presley Neville Begun in 1775 and completed in 1785 by General John Neville an American military officer land speculator and tax collector Woodville the John Presley Neville House is among Southwestern Pennsylvanias oldest surviving homes and the site of a pivotal skirmish in the infamous Whiskey Rebellion of the 1790s.
