THE NEW YORK LANDMARKS PRESERVATION FOUNDATION WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1980 TO SUPPORT THE NEW YORK CITY LANDMARKS PRESERVATION COMMISSION AS WELL AS TO FOSTER PUBLIC AWARENESS OF PRESERVATION THROUGH EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH.
