THE MISSION OF WOMEN IN CALIFORNIA POLITICS IS TO EMPOWER, EDUCATE AND INSPIRE FUTURE GENERATIONS, ENCOURAGING COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT AND FOSTERING THE SPIRIT OF PUBLIC SERVICE BY PRODUCING AND COLLECTING DIGITAL VIDEO ORAL HISTORIES, PRESERVING, HONORING, AND CELEBRATING THE LEGACY OF WOMEN LEGISLATORS AND OTHER WOMEN THAT HAVE SHAPED THE CALIFORNIA POLITICAL LANDSCAPE, THROUGH THEIR OUTSTANDING POLITICAL SERVICE TO THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA.
