VashonBePrepared is a coalition of disaster and resiliency organizations formed to: motivate and educate citizens, households, businesses and neighborhoods for greater self-reliance; partner with island institutions, agencies, businesses and volunteer groups to prepare and respond to emergencies; collaborate with Vashon Fire to develop and enhance disaster plans and procedures; recruit, organize, and train volunteers; raise and manage funds to support all these activities.
