THE PURPOSES OF THE ASSOCIATION SHALL BE FOCUSED ON DEVELOPMENT OF A COORDINATED AND UNIFIED EFFORT ON BEHALF OF THE STATE AGENCIES THAT MAKE UP THE ASSOCIATION TO PRESENT STATE VIEWS TO CONGRESS AND APPROPRIATE FEDERAL AGENCIES ON EXISTING AND PROPOSED OUTDOOR RECREATION LEGISLATION, PLANNING, REGULATIONS AND APPROPRIATIONS.
