Welcome to The Dressing Forward Initiative For the last couple of years I volunteered for another nonprofit that abruptly shut down in October 2022.

We provide a seasonal wardrobe (including play and school outfits, pajamas, a winter coat, shoes, socks, and underwear) plus a book and dental care items to clothing insecure kids.

Transforming laundromats into spaces for learning and growth Civic Suds provides children and adults in underserved communities with educational and literacy programming, including basic literacy, numeracy, digital literacy, financial literacy, and health literacy, and more convenient access to programming and support services offered by other community-based organizations by establishing and operating programming locations within commercial laundromats (and similar spaces open to the public) located in underserved communities.

Walkin' In My Shoes, Inc. 's mission is to decrease the homeless population in the nation by networking with public, private, religious and other organizations to form strong alliances supporting the efforts of those who want to have and who deserve a better life.
