WomenFirst is a grass-root organization that provides nourishing environments where women can rebuild their lives and self-worth through peer mentorship, life-skills training, women empowerment groups, and essential community support.

YOUTH DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES

YDI’s mission is to help disadvantaged adolescent youth make pathways out of poverty by engaging them in evidence-based life skills training after school in which they develop The EDGE: 1) Establish individualized career plans 2) Develop critical life skills 3) Gain essential real-world employment and relationship-building opportunities and 4) Explore college/post-secondary training options.
