PRO-PAPA Missions America, Inc. a non profit foundation was founded in May 1996 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania by Sister Laurinda Mayer and Bill Casey, CEO of Conemaugh Health Systems Sister Laurinda had spent a dozen years in Honduras and had returned to Johnstown to raise funds for a private clinic, Clinic Suyapa, to help ease the suffering of those in her community, Pueblo Urraco, Honduras.
