YOUTH DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES

YDI’s mission is to help disadvantaged adolescent youth make pathways out of poverty by engaging them in evidence-based life skills training after school in which they develop The EDGE: 1) Establish individualized career plans 2) Develop critical life skills 3) Gain essential real-world employment and relationship-building opportunities and 4) Explore college/post-secondary training options.

Participants in the Bright Futures Youth Program have one-on-one and group mentoring opportunities, and they also attend supervised and structured activities that give them with the knowledge, tools, and resources to become self sufficient.
