Youth Development Council of Greene County, Inc.

The Youth Development Council of Greene County (YDC) was incorporated in 2013 and became a non-profit organization in 2014 with a two-fold purpose: to determine the areas of greatest need for youth development activities in Greene County; and to ue establish a comprehensive youth development program serving, free of charge, at-risk 3rd to 8th graders.

To offer homeless&otherwise troubled youth who have experienced academic failure w/an individualized TO OFFER HOMELESS, CHRONICALLY TRUANT AND OTHERWISE TROUBLED YOUTH WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED ACADEMIC/SCHOOL FAILURE WITH AN INDIVIDUALIZED COURSE OF INSTRUCTION THAT NOT ONLY FOCUSES UPON ACADEMIC CORRECTIONS AND REMEDIATION, BUT ENGENDERS SELF WORTH AND PREPARES THEM EDUCATIONALLY AND SOCIALLY FOR A PRODUCTIVE FUTURE.
