THE PURPOSE OF THE FRIENDS OF THE TEMECULA LIBRARY IS TO MAINTAIN A CORPORATION COMPOSED OF CITIZENS WHO BELIEVE THAT A LIBRARY IS NOT A LUXURY, BUT A NECESSITY OF LIFE; TO FOCUS PUBLIC ATTENTION ON THE LIBRARY; TO STIMULATE THE USE OF THE LIBRARY'S RESOUCES AND SERVICES; TO RECEIVE AND ENCOURAGE GIFTS, ENDOWMENTS AND BEQUESTS TO THE LIBRARY; AND TO STAFF AND MAINTAIN BOOKSTORES, THE NET INCOME OF WHICH WILL BE UTILIZED FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE LIBRARY.
