THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS TO PROMOTE THE BEAUTIFICATION AND OVERALL PHYSICAL ATTRACTIVENESS OF THE FORT BEND GREEN BY IDENTIFYING, PRESERVING, AND ENHANCING NATURAL AREAS AND OPEN SPACES FOR RECREATIONAL PURPOSES AND ENJOYMENT OF THE CITIZENS OF FORT BEND COUNTY.

Flowering Lotus Meditation

1) Promote the teaching of meditation and offer students the opportunity to practice meditation; 2) Afford people of different religious backgrounds the opportunity to study the teachings of Buddha in a non-denominational setting; 3) Offer specialized retreats for groups who could benefit from peaceful contemplation and healing; such groups might include, but are not limited to: veterans, ex-offenders, police officers, battered women, pregnant teenagers, firefighters, battered men, high school and college students, etc.
