AMHERST LAND TRUST

To promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of the town of Amherst, New Hampshire, and surrounding communities (1) the conservation of the natural resources, to include the conservation of the natural resources of the land, water, marshland, woodland and open spaces, and the plant and animal life therein of said town; (2) the maintenance of the unique scenic and historic sites of said town; and (3) the protection of the waters, lakes, ponds and watershed areas of said area against pollution.
