URBAN TREE CONNECTION (UTC) IS A NONPROFIT, COMMUNITY-BASED URBAN GREENING ORGANIZATION WHOSE MISSION IS TO PARTNER WITH URBAN, LOW-INCOME COMMUNITIIES TO REVITALIZE THEIR NEIGHBORHOODS THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED BY TRANSFORMING ABANDONED OPEN SPACES INTO SAFE AND FUNCTIONAL PLACES THAT INSPIRE AND PROMOTE POSITIVE HUMAN INTERACTION WE BUILD COMMUNITY ONE VACANT LOT AT A TIME Urban Tree Connection is now the Neighborhood Land Power Project Who We Are Neighborhood Land Power Project NLPP is a 501c3 communitybased organization and our mission is to build a neighborhoodrooted food and land system through community leadership development and landbased strategies in West Philadelphia.

OXFORD HILLS COMMUNITY GARDENS

Our mission, in memory of Alan Day (1954-2008), is to cooperatively create an educational demonstration garden where people can grow their own food using organic, sustainable methods to support an enduring community food system.
