ACADEMY OF THE CITY CHARTER SCHOOL IS A COMMUNITY-BASED CHARTER SCHOOL BASED ON PRINCIPLES OF COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT, WORKPLACE DEMOCRACY, REFLECTIVE PRACTICES IN PEDAGOGY, MANAGEMENT AND GOVERNANCE, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, ACCOUNTABILITY, TRANSPARENCY, AND ENTREPRENEURIALISM.
