Uhab Sterling was organized rxclusively for the purpose of acquiring, developing, constructing and improving occupied and vacant housing for persons of low income, including the sale, exchange, transfer and conversion to cooperative ownership by low-income tenant shareholders in order to promote social welfare by lessening neighborhood tensions, lessening the bordens of government, combating community deterioration and fostering community improvrmrnt.
