Friends of the Elizabethton-Carter County Animal Shelter

Non-profit group of volunteers who support the E&CC Animal Shelter & are building low cost S/N clinic We are a 100% volunteer-run, non-profit organization that uses your donations, organizes fundraising events, and gets grants to: (1) Help the government-run Elizabethton/Carter County Animal Shelter by: funding and project managing specific building improvements, such as enclosing the outdoor dog kennels last year, and providing funds for medical care for injured, abused, and senior animals in the shelter when their budget doesn't cover it.

The Humane Society is nonprofit corporation governed by a Board of Directors comprised of volunteers from the community who are dedicated to animal welfare.
