Delaware Center for Homeless Veterans, the only veteran-specific nonprofit using the Housing First Model in DE, was founded in 2009 and became a 501(c)3 in 2010 DCHV provides housing solutions and holistic care to homeless Veterans in the state of Delaware.

Our mission is to end homelessness for our veterans by focusing on housing first; then with the assistance of the Veterans Administration assessing each veterans personal barriers to housing (PTSD, alcohol/substance abuse, legal, medical/psychiatric, employment, etc) and as a team we can work on overcoming those barriers.
