At the request of His Holiness the Dalai Lama the Tashi Lhunpo Foundation formerly The Panchen Lama Tashi Lhunpo Project is helping to reestablish the Tashi Lhunpo Monastery in exile to its former greatness as a spiritual and scholastic center preserving the traditions and culture of Tibetan Buddhism protecting the seat of His Holiness the Panchen Lama and the unique relationship that has existed between the two Lamas for hundreds of years.
