POST 110 RECEIVED ITS CHARTER FROM THE AMERICAN LEGION ON AUGUST 13,1959 AMD SINCE THEN HAS BEEN A COMMUNITY LEADER IN HELPING LOCAL VETERAN'S AND THEIR FAMILIES THROUGH FUND RAISING EVENTS, SPONSORSHIP OF YOUTH SPORTS PROGRAMS, SENDING DESERVING YOUNG MEN TO BOY'S STATE, PRESENTING AWARDS FOR SCHOLASTIC ACHIEVEMENT, AND WHEN UNABLE TO PROVIDE DIRECT SUPPORT, ENSURE VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES ARE PROVIDED ALL ASSISTANCE IN GETTING THE HELP THEY NEED FROM OTHER AREA VETERANS' ORGANIZATIONS.
