High Sierra Wild Horse Sanctuary and Gentling Center was established to help provide a safe haven or temporary home for horses when their owners are faced with unforeseen circumstances or horses that are in need of quality care when found abandoned or abused.

THE CORPORATION IS SUPPORTING PROJECTS ON PINE RIDGE INDIAN RESERVATION, INCLUDING PAYING FOR FUNERALS, SUPPORTING ELDERS WITH NEEDED EXPENSES (FOOD, UTILITIES, SNOW CLEARING), SUPPORTING THE EMERGENCY CHILD CARE CENTER ON THE RESERVATION, REBUILDING A DAMAGED CEREMONY HOUSE AND OTHER STRUCTURES, AND ADDITIONALLY CARING FOR AND FEEDING NATIVE HORSES AND HOSTING VISITORS TO EXPERIENCE THE NATIVE HORSES.
